Living aboard a yacht for the whole of your holiday is not everyone's cup of tea but this should not put you off a sailing holiday. Stay & Sail is the option for you. Popular 2-week combinations are to spend the first week of your holiday sailing and the second week ashore relaxing and exploring.
Sailing in Croatia >
We have known our partner in Croatia since 1997 when he was the manager for another charter company at the same marina we were based from at the time. He set up on his own in 2004, and the many satisfied clients we have booked through him is the testimony to our faith in him and his very experienced and able team.
Skippered charter is where you hire a captain (in some resorts it is also possible to hire a hostess/cook) to sail the yacht for you. This is a great option for those who have not sailed before or do not wish to learn to sail, but still like the idea of sailing. While you may be asked to lend a hand when necessary, the rest of the time you can relax; enjoy the scenery, read and daydream.
In consultation with the captain you can plan your itinerary so that you get a real sense of sailing in your chosen area. You can chose to spend the evenings in marinas or ports, visiting local attractions and sights only accessible by sea, ensuring you see some spectacular scenery and of course sailing. Just sit back and relax.
Pot-Luck
Pot-Luck holidays or 'share-a-yacht' option is perfect for experienced sailors who are travelling as a couple or as a solo. These independent sailors join together and share the cost of the yacht between them. It means even if you are travelling alone you can still join a friendly crew and enjoy a sailing holiday. We carefully match our customers with suitable shipmates taking into account: experience, age, singles and couples. This gives a good balance and any enjoyable holiday for all.
